Private Lesson Cancellation Policy
Private students must call the office (no emails) at least 24 hours before a scheduled class during business hours to notify us of a cancellation or schedule change.
Our business hours are as follows: Mondays-Thursday 10:00am - 7:00pm and Fridays 10:00am - 5:00pm
Any cancellations or schedule changes made after that time will be deducted from your account as we are obligated to pay for the instructor's scheduled time.
If you need to reschedule a lesson the same day, you will be charged for the original lesson as well as the rescheduled appointment. Example: Lesson scheduled from 4:00pm to 5:00pm (1 hour). Lessons moved to 5:00pm to 6:00pm (1h). Student will be billed for 2 hours (both lessons) if the change is not made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled lesson during business hours.
If you are feeling ill the day before a scheduled lesson, we recommend canceling the lesson, as it is usually not a problem to reschedule the lesson the following day if you are feeling better.
We highly recommend not scheduling a class the same day you are traveling back to Westchester due to unavoidable flight and traffic delays.
We understand that there are times when advance notification is not possible, and we are willing to work with those who are faced with extraordinary circumstances beyond their control (natural disasters, sudden emergencies, etc.)
