Russian Group Language Classes

ABC Languages Total Beginner Russian is for students with little to no background in Russian. Students may choose to enroll for 6, 8, or 12 weeks (textbook not included). 

In the first 6 weeks, students will be introduced to the Cyrillic alphabet, learn basic vocabulary and sentence structure in the present tense and get an introduction to Russian cases. In 8-12 weeks, students can expect to cover some irregular verbs in the present tense, and gain a deeper understanding and application of cases. The minimum enrollment age is 17 years old.

To reserve a space you need only sign up for the minimum 6 weeks and may upgrade to a longer enrollment by your 2nd class. 12-week enrollments include 1 make-up class (a 13th consecutive class) for a missed lesson.

As with all of our groups, once a class is started it will be ongoing with flexible enrollment options. options.

Classes will be held permanently online through Microsoft Teams.

Privyet and Welcome!

If you have some background in Russian from a low beginner to advanced level, you’ve come to the right place! We have a rolling admission policy which means you can start any time and you get to try out a class before enrolling! Here’s how it works:

1. Let us know a little about your level. You can fill out the form below or give us a call. 
2. We will give you class recommendations appropriate to your level of Russian.
3. Choose your preferred section and let us know when you would like to come in for your 1^st/trial class.
4. Attend your class and see how it goes. If you decide to join the group, this initial class will be considered the first of your enrollment. If the group is not the right fit, there will be no charge and we will be happy to help you find an alternate group.

Our online Russian classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Min. 3 / Max. 6 students). Group pricing is listed here.
