Welcome! If you already have some background in Mandarin Chinese, you’ve come to the right place!
We have a rolling admission policy for advanced Chinese classes, which means you can start any time - and you get to try out a class before enrolling!
From the high beginner who’s learned pinyin to the advanced student reading characters and practicing conversation, we have Chinese classes at a variety of levels happening right now.
We want to find the perfect class for you. To get started, please fill out our Chinese evaluation.
1. We will send class recommendations personalized to your level.
2. Pick a class and let us know when you’d like to attend your trial.
3. After your initial lesson, let us know what you think. If you decide join the group, this will count as the first class of your package. If for any reason the group isn’t the right fit, the lesson is on us and we’ll be happy to help you find an alternate Chinese class.
Our small online Chinese classes meet once a week for 90 minutes, with a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 7.

Textbooks are not included, but we will email you the materials you’ll need for your first class. You may then purchase the book after starting your class.
Classes are in Eastern Time and meet using Microsoft Teams.

Beginner 2 – Students are learning pinyin, basic greetings, and conversation in the present tense.
Intermediate – Students are learning simplified Chinese characters and more complex tenses.
Advanced – Students are reading short texts and can discuss current events and cultural topics.
